The company was formed in 1978 and has successfully established itself as one of the UK's leading distributors of industrial automation and control products. Routeco began distributing promis•e back in the mid 90's and since forming this relationship have continually worked closely with ECT to provide promis•e customers with continued cost saving ideas. The 'Internet Optimised Design Purchasing Solution' a two part strategy aimed initially at providing promis•e users with a detailed, accurate and up-to-date parts database with over 40,000 parts. Combine this with our additional XReports and you have the the ability to interface with the Routeco web based E-Commerce system for on-line ordering directly from design. Both the Routeco Parts Database and XReports are made freely available to all promis•e customers. |

Schneider began working with ECT during 1999 when a relationship was formed to develop one of the first comprehensive 'out of the box' design solutions using Telemecanique components. The configuration consists of over 16,000 Parts Database entries and thousands of Schematic and detailed Layout symbols all linked together to provide one of the first Auto Filter schematic design interfaces. Realising the potential cost savings an application like promis•e could offer their customers, as part of a Package Solution Schneider began reselling promis•e. Shortly after this the Collaborative Automation Partner program was formed where ECT became one of the foremost Unity Partners by giving promis•e the ability to directly link with Unity Pro, read the PLC I/O data and automatically produce PLC Wire diagrams ensuring consistency and accuracy of the schematic and PLC data.
